Villeroy & Boch, the well known German manufacturer of bathroom ceramics has announced the opening of new showroom within the London’s Business Design Centre located in Upper Street, Islington.
The showroom was opened last week on Thursday November 16 and is located across suites 312, 313, and 314 of the [Upper Street] London Business Design Centre.
The opening was also timed to coincide with a milestone in the brands history, with the Villeroy & Boch 275th anniversary in 2023. The company began its humble roots in the tiny Lorraine village of Audun le Tiche, France, where the iron master François Boch set up a pottery company with his three sons in 1748.
News of the new showroom comes on the back of other Kbb news about the brand as Villeroy & Boch also recently signed a deal to acquire Belgium headquartered bathroom brand Ideal Standard. Villeroy & Boch Kitchens
In addition to the established bathroom ceramics and then kitchen ceramics, in recent years Villeroy & Boch have also ventured into full kitchens, via German kitchens manufacturer Störmer whom makes the kitchens for Villeroy and Boch under licence.
The first UK Villeroy and Boch kitchen showroom was opened in 2020 in Manchester's Küchen Cheshire whom are also a Poggenpohl dealer.

The New Villeroy & Boch Showroom in the London’s Business Design Centre is welcome news for the Kbb sector as good news has been a little scarce of late.
