French kitchen manufacturer has invested £300,000 in its 10th UK franchise today to see its latest showroom open in Reading, which is owned by Canadian Abbas Twaij.
The new 170sq m showroom features seven displays across a mix of kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe and living displays and Mobalpa UK chief Kyle Whittle said of the opening,
“We’re delighted to welcome Abbas and his team to the Mobalpa network and are very excited to be celebrating our tenth showroom. 2018 is set to be an exciting year for us so and opening in Reading has been a great way to start it and continue sharing our French kitchen furniture with new customers.”
FranchiseeTwaij added: “I’m looking forward to sharing Mobalpa’s quality ranges with Reading; we’ve had a great couple of weeks meeting people and discussing design. The showroom is laid out so customers can get a real feel of the kitchens and our different offerings; they can test out functionality and inspect various finishes. It’s a hands-on experience.
“I chose Mobalpa to develop a business in the UK due to the excellent product range and the level of support. The management team dedicated to UK are always available to help and are very attentive.”
Mobalpa’s largest kitchen showroom to date was opened in Walton-on-Thames in 2017 following a £350,000 investment and is run by franchisees David Akporehe and Odunola Etuokwu but the 10th franchise showroom in Reading marks a significant milestone for Mobalpa as other franchise models such as that with Nobilia via Kutchenhaus are starting to grow in popularity and Mobalpa is planning further growth across the UK in 2018.
The Reading Mobalpa showroom run by Twaij who has a background in construction, project management and property development joins a growing franchise network consisting of showrooms in London, the South East, West Yorkshire and a pilot store in Warrington, Cheshire.
