AEG, Bosch, Panasonic and Siemens have been shortlisted for the Best Home Appliance Brand prize at the 2013 Which? Awards, taking place in London on 19th June.
Peter Vicary-Smith, chief executive of the consumer champion, said the awards are designed to “celebrate companies that go the extra mile to put their customers first”.
“This year, as we highlight the very best of business, we will also recognise those companies who put customers at the heart of what they do,” said Vicary-Smith.
Marketing manager at AEG Anna Cox said of the company's nomination: “AEG is delighted to be shortlisted for a Which? award for the second year running. The Which? Awards are one of the most coveted symbols of product excellence and we are thrilled that the consumer champion has recognised AEG.”
BSH Home Appliances ltd has declared itself “thrilled” that two of its brands are nominated for the award.
Siemens is celebrating its first nomination since 2007, with brand manager Michelle Lilley (pictured) saying: “I am absolutely over the moon at our nomination. The Which? Awards are one of the most important dates in our diary and for years we have watched our sister brand Bosch celebrate their wins.”
Bosch meanwhile is hoping to win the award for the third year running. Sales director Simon Jones commented: “I'm really pleased that we have been nominated yet again. I wish all nominees the very best of luck and, while I do hope that Bosch takes the award for a record-breaking third year in a row, I would be pleased for our sister brand if it was successful on the day.”
Which? is more than just a consumer review website, they are the real consumer champions, and as a consumer champion, their campaigns work to make your lives fairer, with advice that helps you make informed decisions and their services and products put your needs first to bring you better value, unlike other consumer review websites which just provide a platform for people to slag off and defame one business, whilst displaying adverts via Google adwords for competing businesses.
