Kbb Births, Deaths and Deals - Bathroom retailer Ripples has started the new year by opening a new showroom in Norwich, taking its total number of UK retail locations up to 21.
The new Norwich Ripples showroom features an array of products from some of Europe’s leading luxury bathroom brands such as Swiss sanitaryware brand Laufen,British tap brand Samuel Heath and niche offerings from the likes of award-winning British designer Sam Lander and many many more.
The first ever Ripples showroom was opened by company founders Roger and Sandra Kyme in the amazingly apt city of Bath in 1988 and after several successful and award winning years Roger and Sandra saw the growth opportunities in franchising the business.
In addition to the many Kbb industry awards that Bathroom retailer Ripples has earned over the years, the business was also shortlisted by Elite Franchise Magazine in the Top 100 franchise businesses to start in 2022.
In 2022 Ripples Abingdon, in Oxfordshire opened and in doing so, it took the number of locations to 18 but with plans in motion to open another two. So given the kbb industry turmoil over the last 3 years, that Ripples hasnt just delivered on those plans to open its 19th and 20th locations, but pushed ahead and opened the 21st location with Norwich Ripples, the business is certainly bucking the industry trend.
Owner/director of Ripples Norwich - Liam Corcoran
Owner and director of Ripples Norwich, Liam Corcoran, commented: “Having gained nearly 20 years’ experience within the bathroom industry, I understand the importance of every part of the process; from sourcing quality products and creating inspiring designs, right the way through to the final installation. I’m looking forward to bringing my knowledge and passion for bathrooms to Norwich and to be doing so with the support of the wider Ripples family.”
More recently in 2023 Ripples celebrated its 35th anniversary and in the same year, the business also won ‘Bathroom retailer of the year’ at the KBBFocus show, for their Southport showroom.
With many bathrooms styles to choose, from modern and contemporary to the more classic and traditional and from small bathrooms up to large family bathrooms, bathroom retailer Ripples certainly has a lot to offer its customers and the continued growth, on face value, seems to suggest its customers are buying into what Ripples is offering.
