Villeroy & Boch to unveil a new bathroom collection at HIX 2024

Kbb News - A New Villeroy & Boch bathroom collection is set to be unveiled at the HIX 2024 event in London’s Business Design Centre on 27th & 28th November.

HIX, is Europe’s only hotel focused design event bringing the hospitality community together for two days of talks, parties, installations and a curated exhibition of over 160 leading design brands to help deliver a celebration of everything design focused, that makes hotels incredible.

HIX promotes itself as a one-stop shop for the latest trends and ideas so the New Villeroy & Boch bathroom collection being unveiled at the HIX 2024 event will not just focus on new styles for homeowners, but in the spirit of the HIX event, will feature the latest innovations that set a new standard in washrooms and bathrooms.

Representing the entire hotel design supply chain, major bathroom, surface, technology, furnishing and fabric suppliers including GROHE, Laufen, Roca, Hansgrohe, Chelsom, Duxiana, Hypnos, Muuto together with Villeroy & Boch and the Ideal Standard bathroom brand, which Villeroy & Boch acquired earlier in 2024 the HIX event is an ideal platform to showcase their latest releases in the hotel design industry.

The theme for this year’s HIX event is, ‘a sense of place’, which aims to explore the unique connections that exist between a hotel and the area which it serves – be that a specific building, a neighbourhood, a district or an entire city.

Fabrizia D’Autilia, marketing manager at Villeroy & Boch, commented: “HIX isn’t just another event; it’s a true celebration of timeless design. We are thrilled to be taking part in the event once again, it is an opportunity for us to get together with some of the best and brightest design minds in the industry. We invite attendees to visit our showroom, where they can engage in meaningful discussions with our bathroom experts, who have a deep understanding of the latest trends and innovations in the industry.”

Villeroy & Boch acquisition of Ideal Standard

The acquisition and integration of Ideal Standard into the Villeroy & Boch group, will see the larger group join the ranks of Europe’s largest manufacturers of bathroom products, with around 13,000 employees and a global production and distribution network.

deal Standard complements Villeroy & Boch’s business model very well and the complementary strengths of the two companies in terms of regional presence, sales strategies and product portfolios will no doubt increase the Group’s competitiveness and help cement the business in a challenging Kbb market.

Villeroy & Boch announced its plans to acquire Ideal Standard at the end of 2023 and was thought to have paid some €600 million (£517m) for the brand, which in doing so has resulted in a 20% increase in consolidated group revenue to some €277.1m (approximately £195m).

Although Villeroy & Boch has a permanent showroom in Suites 312, 313, and 314 within the Business Design Centre showcasing the new Villeroy & Boch bathroom collection, the bathroom brand is thought to be taking up significant additional floorspace for the HIX London event, later this month to properly unveil its new bathroom collection at HIX 2024.
