The kitchen sink and tap supplier 1810 Company based in Mold, Flintshire has launched a new 'bespoke' manufacturing service, supplying custom-made sinks to clients' “exact measurements and specification”, according to the company.
The new '1810 Bespoke' service will be available through the company's website, where customers can download a request form to give details of their requirements and submit an example drawing of their desired product.
The company will then supply the customer with an estimated price before producing detailed drawings. Sinks ordered through the service will be individually made to order within an eight to 10 week manufacturing and delivery schedule, the company said.
“As a key sink and tap supplier to specialist retail and contract clients, we are often approached to manufacture bespoke kitchen sinks specific to individual clients' requirements,” said managing director Gareth Williams. “The increase in demand of this popular service has led us to make this a regular bespoke offering.”
With a maximum overall length of 1800 mm, the made-to-order sink options include; undermount or inset installation, bowl sizes, quantity and configuration, internal bowl radii, drainer quantity, size and position. All sinks are supplied complete with waste and plumbing kits.
1810 Bespoke sinks will attract an approximate 20% premium on similarly sized regular range models.
With no minimum or maximum quantity restraints, the ‘Bespoke’ service is available with immediate effect through kitchen industry professionals.
The 1810 Company warrants its sinks to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal residential usage for 75 years but it is unclear if this exceptional warranty is extended to the bespoke service yet.
