Sales Up at German Kitchen Manufacturer Rotpunkt

German kitchen manufacturer Rotpunkt has reported a positive start to the year 2025 with news that it has seen a strong boost in its Q1 sales figures against this same period last year.

Rotpunkt says it has seen a 4.5% sales boost in its Q1 2025 sales figures, which is much higher than the same period last year. According to the german brand Rotpunkt, this growth stems from a 7% rise in incoming orders which it is has seen in a number of markets, such as Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Scandinavia.

Additionally, a “noticeable increase” in orders from the British Isles was reported, with Rotpunkt adding that sales “have now reached above average”.

Rotpunkt’s turnover has steadily risen over the last 5-10 years, seeing an increase of over 35m euros when compared to 2018 figures of 65m euros and in 2023 the company reported 100m euros.

Whilst the rise is impressive, there is still some distance yet for Rotpnkt to make up in its pursuit of becoming a top 10 German kitchens brand, with Siematic disclosing 2023 revenues of some €175m, despite sitting towards the bottom of the top 10 german brands table, when ranked by revenue.

Whilst it is early days to attribute the increase in sales to more market share being captured by Rotpunkt, versus like for like sales at other german kitchen manufacturers? Or if the increase is a result of the segment in general seening a lift due to more favourable market conditions such as lower interest rates across the EU? Nevertheless, the news will be welcome for the German kitchen manufacturer Rotpunkt, whom started as a german manufacturer of wooden crates in 1930.

Whilst German kitchen manufacturer Rotpunkt has reported an upturn in Q1 2025 sales figures, the top 10 german kitchen brands of Nobilia, Hacker, Schuller, Nolte, Baumann Group (inc Bauformat), Bulthaup, Leicht, Siematic and Poggenpohl havent as of yet, released their 2025 Q1 sales figures.

In addition to the upturn in its 2025 Q1 german kitchen sales, Rotpunkt has also committed to its participation in the 2026 kbb Birmingham show, no doubt to try and keep the momentum going in its continued entry into the UK market.

Discussing the company’s plans for 2025 and into 2026, Sven Herden, managing director of sales and marketing at Rotpunkt Kuchen said: “In addition to attending industry trade fairs throughout the year, Hausmesse, our in-house exhibition that stakes place every year in September, is the most important opportunity for us to present our latest innovations to trade customers.

“With this in mind, we will once again invite our growing network of UK partners to exclusive dealer trips this autumn, so they can experience our latest innovations in person, and deepen their knowledge of what we have to offer thanks to expert training from our UK sales team on our range of products.”
