PWS has revamped its design centre, which now features an 84sq m area showcasing smart storage solutions from Kesseböhmer.
Marketing manager Andrew Langford said the dedicated area – which displays swing larders, tandem larders, slimline pullouts and magic corner solutions – had been added in line with “growing demand for clever ways to maximise storage”.
He added: “We anticipate this will only get stronger. As the average size of the British home shrinks, consumers are looking for innovative ways to get the most out of their cabinet space. The trend towards open-plan living has also had an impact on the popularity of smart storage, as consumers want to hide the day-to-day items out of sight.”
The 1,700sq m design centre, in Co Durham, also showcases the company’s 1909, Second Nature and Metris furniture brands, as well as a range of worksurface and handle options.
The latest news were announced after a period of relative marketing inactvity since PWS last big push in August 2013 when it released a suite of new marketing initiatives for its consumer-facing Second Nature kitchens website, including the original video animation, the +Moodboard app and the online real kitchen of the month competition. This supports the company’s strategy to champion the skills of the independent specialist and reinforce the many benefits of buying from this channel.
