The third kbbreview Kitchen Conference, which takes place on September 12, will see significantly more retailers attend than before as total bookings jump ahead of the same time last year.
With four weeks still to go, retailers have already booked more delegate places than attended the 2011 event. Delegates from manufacturers and suppliers are also ahead of the same period in 2011.
"This is great news as the kbbreview Kitchen Conference has always been about getting a cross section of the industry together," said kbbreview managing editor Andrew Davies, who is hosting the day long event.
"It's so important to have retailers there, but they're very busy people and we know that it takes a genuine commitment to leave the showroom for a day so they're seeing the benefit a conference like this can bring to their business."
The kbbreview Kitchen Conference takes place on September 12, at the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire from 9:30am to 4:30pm and confirmed speakers include designer and author Johnny Grey who has already sparked debate with the 'Creative Index' idea that will form the backbone of his talk. He labelled the kitchen sector 'apathetic' when it comes to displaying creativity across all sectors of the market.
The kbbreview Kitchen Conference will also feature a keynote address from BSH UK CEO Michael Steinle on how the industry needs to work together if it hopes to return to prosperity.
Other programme highlights include a panel discussion with some of the UK's top kitchen retailers on how they are adapting their businesses in the new market.
The full programme and currently confirmed speakers can be seen at the kbbreview Kitchen Conference site.
Delegate places can be booked directly there too. The delegate rate is £199 plus VAT with a special rate for retailers of £59 + VAT. There are further exclusive rates for KBSA corporate and retail members.
