The countdown to the 2012 Manchester Furniture Show has begun!
Marketed as the industry’s ‘friendliest’ and longest established trade show, exhibitor bookings are well underway and the organisers have said that many industry favourites are returning for another year for the trade show that is perfect timing to place orders which will hit the shop floors in time for the crucial Autumn/Winter trading months.
The organisers, Furniture & Gift Fairs Limited have said that over 90% of the main hall is now booked with new signings such as Furmanac, Deluxe Beds, Exclusive, Cintique, SWS Imports, Shankar Enterprises, New Trend, Octagon Furniture and Cavendish Upholstery but that there is still some space left for approx £142 per m2 for a Shell Scheme or £124 per m2 for Space Only.
The show offers a more relaxed atmosphere than the hustle and bustle of some other shows, giving buyers the opportunity to spend quality time with suppliers without spending days away from their stores.

What to Expect
The word furniture has been partially adopted by the kitchen industry but in this sense, it’s more about the traditional sense of furniture as in living room, soft furnishings, sofas and beds.
Although there are no kitchen companies exhibiting at present, many firms from the Manchester Kitchens, Stockport Kitchens and local kitchen industries do attend to look at the accessory end and design trends they may compliment their kitchen, bed and bathroom displays.
