Kitchens and Bathrooms Live will be taking place over the first three days of UK Construction Week which is set to kick off at Birmingham's NEC from 6th October.
On the newly released programme seminar, the first day will see the Global Bathroom Design Workshop hosted by the Society of British and International Design – SBID – followed by an afternoon session on Innovative, Future Kitchen Design, with other afternoon sessions including bathroom design with a focus on house builders, designers and architects; a technical session on kitchen and bathroom design for commercial buildings; plus upcoming trends and new developments in ‘technology for the kitchen and bathroom’.
Each of the three days of Kitchens and Bathrooms Live will come to a close with a 'Meet the Installer' networking session which is designed to provide networking opportunities between contractors, manufacturers and installers.
“Kitchens & Bathrooms Live will showcase a carefully curated selection of the best kitchen and bathroom manufacturers, along with carefully planned programme of seminar content,” said Richard Morey, group events director at UK Construction Week organiser Media 10. “With the support of our event partners, I think we have pulled together a really useful and informative schedule that will challenge, educate and inspire visitors in equal measure.”
In bringing together the newly acquired Build Show and the highly successful Grand Designs Live, Kitchens & Bathrooms Live is a brand new event dedicated to showcasing the leading brands at the forefront of design in the kitchens and bathrooms sector. Expect a carefully curated selection of only the best kitchens and bathroom manufacturers to accompany a wealth of accessories and fittings. Run by Media 10, apparently the most decorated media and events company in the UK, The Build Show already has great support from a significant range of exhibitors, associations and media and Grand Designs Live, with over 24,000 trade attendees, and the portfolio of other construction related events gives UK Construction Week a projected trade attendance of 50,000, making it the most significant event in construction for decades.
Media 10's CEO Lee Newton said: "For the first time Media 10 is able to combine our experience and leading events to create the strongest trade event the building and construction industry has ever seen. Apart from incorporating Grand Designs Live into UK Construction Week, we are proud to add the Build Show to this impressive event offering every profession valuable exposure to the latest innovation in the build industry.
"We already attract more architects, designers and specifiers to our events than any other organiser through 100% Design, Clerkenwell Design Week and Grand Designs Live. Therefore this event is perfect for Media 10 as we believe we are the only company that is capable of delivering such a large and ambitious project."
Designed to promote construction at a time of renewed growth and optimism in the industry, UK Construction Week will be supported by the UK government and a raft of industry associations, as well as trade and consumer media, with the sole aim of increasing productivity and profit in this vital sector that employs 2.2 million people in the UK.
