International coach to speak at KBB Industry Conference October 2024

The KBSA has announced that an international master coach, mentor, author and speaker will present at the KBB Industry Conference coming later this year on Wednesday 9th October 2024.

The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) hosts an annual event to celebrate the annual achievements of those in the Kbb industry, in addition to offering insight into the threats and opportunities that exist for its members, particularly in regard to sales, marketing, supply chains, regulation and economic outlook.

International master coach, mentor, author and speaker Tina Southgate will present at the KBB Industry Conference 2024.

Tina has a proven track record in business, developing teams; bringing innovation and excellence to the marketplace. Tina founded her own coaching and mentoring business in 2006 and has helped hundreds of leaders to create and establish businesses, non-profits, and other projects, and to grow their organisation to the next level.

Tina's work helps leaders to confidently grow beyond their perceived potential, aligning to their identity and values, as well as discovering and being activated in their strongest abilities.

“We are delighted that Tina will be joining us this year," said KBSA chair Richard Hibbert. “KBB business owners often work alone or with a small number of other family members, without the business support and training that comes from a larger more corporate structure. Tina’s experience will allow delegates to tap into big business thinking, in a way that it can be applied to their own circumstances.

“Other guest speakers are yet to be announced but will cover topics that are relevant to the KBB retail market, such as sales and marketing and artificial intelligence.”

KBSA chair Richard Hibbert added: “We anticipate that we will have another sell out year so advise retailers save the date and register their interest with the KBSA to secure a place. We are building on the success of last year with a strong programme designed to provide thought provoking and relevant content, which will enhance business performance.”

Broadcast journalist Emma Crosby, pictured, will facilitate the conference which will take place on 9th October 2024, with the theme of 'Empowering & Enhancing Excellence'.

A familiar voice on LBC radio, Crosby has also co-presented the popular ITV breakfast show GMTV and spent several years as a presenter with Sky News and anchor at Channel 5 News.

The event will return to the Belfry Hotel and Resort in the West Midlands and comedian Ronni Ancona is set to host the Awards dinner.

The KBSA will once again be welcoming non KBSA retailers. Richard Hibbert said: “We had such great feedback last year from non-members that attended. Not only did they benefit from the presentations but enjoyed the opportunity to experience the strength and support that comes from being a part of the KBSA.”

The programme for the day will follow last year’s format with extended breaks to allow time for networking and for delegates to visit the business services exhibition and advice surgery. This includes trusted suppliers and covers topics such as finance, credit card processing, HR and legal, health and wellbeing.

The event will include the retailer dinner on the evening before the conference – Tuesday 8th October. The Awards dinner will follow the conference on Wednesday 9th October.
